This letter gives me real joy to write for every customer, artisan, team, and partner who has traveled on this Shrijap journey with us. For every jap mala that leaves our workshop, it takes the contribution of many hands: the bead craftmen, who source and design each piece and shape it; the team, which scrutinizes every bead for purity; and the customer, who believes in our expertise in spiritual journeys with something as personal as their daily mantra chanting and that this business cannot be something if it were only business.
When we thought of Shrijap, the concept was easy but tough: build a brand for authentic rudraksha mala, tulsi mala, and other spiritual accessories; the market was overflowing with imitation products; they wanted the business to be run by claiming anything possible, like "Real product is our brand." No doubt about the cost, where they sell things for much more than their value; some customers had real confusion about buying these spiritually meaningful products; we dreamt of a product where a person could really trust "Shrijap."
So we have a few principles, which will never be compromised: source authenticity, craftsmanship excellence, fair value, and real respect for tradition and spiritually relevant products, and it holds very clearly that being a spiritually focused organization, we have responsibilities more than anything to be truthful with every prayer bead we sell.
